Where and When
The 12th annual summer British Freeskiing performance training Camps, in association with Freeski Britain, The Grom Camps and Ride Freesport, will be held in Saas Fee, Switzerland on the following weeks:
14th - 21st July, 21st - 28th July, 28th July - 4th August and 4th - 11th August 2012, Saas-Fee, Switzerland
About the Camps
The British Freeski Camps will once again be focused once again on bringing the British freeskiing community closer together and building a basis for training riders to become top level Freestyle skiers, Big Mountain competitors and Moguls competition skiers. The camps are not elitist and also give less experienced skiers who have never had the chance to ride the park a unique learning and confidence building experience for freestyle skiing.
Saas-Fee is a top summer skiing glacier due to the snow quality and the shaping in the Saas-Fee snowpark. Because of the terrain available in the summer in Saas-Fee, the camps also have the opportunity to test skiers on steeps, moguls and amazing well groomed pistes.
During the camps you’ll also get the chance to witness the
Saas Fee Ride, an international level freeski competition with some of Europe's top riders and also the best of British. See last years event live right now at the official
website - www.saasfeeride.com.

Travel
In the summer:
Book your flight to preferably arrive in Geneva. You can also fly to Zurich. The Swiss train service offer an excellent service from both airports, directly to Visp where you change to a bus for the last part of the mountain up to the resort. See train times and prices here http://www.sbb.ch.
In the winter:
Book your flight to Geneva Airport, once you collect your luggage and walk through the ‘nothing to declare’ area, turn left and head to the bottom end of the arrivals area. Go through the automatic doors and in to the train station. There you can take a train to visp (normally departing from platform 3) and from Visp take a bus up to Saas-Fee.
Once you arrive at the bus station in Saas-Fee, call the Allin on +41 27 957 4300 and they will send a complimentary hotel taxi to collect you. In an emergency, please call head coach Pat Sharples on +44 7974 205852.
